Berhampur, Ap 29: Berhampur is witnessing fresh developments in the high-profile murder case of businessman Sudhir Patra, as a new audio clip has gone viral on social media. The recording reportedly captures a conversation between Sudhir’s wife, Rashmita, and the alleged kidnappers.In the audio, the kidnappers are heard threatening Rashmita, demanding cash and gold from her. They allegedly instructed her to bring all the money she had at home, insisting that failure to comply could have severe consequences, for which no one would be held responsible.Rashmita can be heard pleading with the abductors, explaining her limitations and asking for help to meet their demands. While the kidnappers initially insisted on one crore rupees, Rashmita offered 10 tolas of gold she was wearing. She also agreed to provide all the gold kept at home.The abductors reportedly instructed Rashmita to come alone on a two-wheeler if she didn’t have a driver available and warned that some of their associates would follow her to ensure compliance. They also asked her to keep her phone and WhatsApp number on so they could monitor the communication.This new audio clip follows an earlier viral recording in which the kidnappers discussed the Rs 50 lakh payment allegedly arranged for Sudhir’s murder. The series of recordings have intensified public attention on the case and raised concerns about the safety of Rashmita and her daughter during the ongoing investigation.The police have yet to confirm the authenticity of the recordings, but they have intensified their efforts to apprehend the suspects.
