Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal on Thursday filed a police complaint against Aska MLA Saroj Padhi, accusing him of misbehaving with Ganjam Zilla Parishad Chief Development Officer-cum-EO Samir Jena, IAS, over distribution of relief materials.The complaint was lodged at Aska Police Station by a delegation led by Ganjam District Youth BJD President Nachiketa Swain.As per the complaint, the altercation took place on Wednesday evening when CDO Jena and MLA Padhi had a dispute regarding supply of relief materials. The MLA allegedly abused the officer during the argument.The BJD has further alleged that there was a conspiracy to misappropriate relief materials and that the MLA indulged in hooliganism.
