Mayurbhanj: A coal-laden caught fire in the middle of the road on National Highway number 18 near Tarakoti under Betanati police limits in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.The incident took place around 8 am on Monday morning. Fortunately, the driver and helper have escaped unhurt from the fire.According to sources, the truck was heading towards Baripada from Balasore when a fire suddenly erupted in the vehicle. The startled truck driver and helper left the vehicle as soon as they noticed smoke coming out of it.On receiving information, the Betanati Fire fighters reached the spot and brought the blaze under control. However, by the time the fire was doused, the truck had been completely burnt beyond saving. The reason behind the fire is yet to ascertained
