Delhi court says wrestlers’ sexual harassment case against Brij Bhushan Singh seemed to be ‘politically’ motivated

New Delhi, 10/8: A Delhi court, which has acquitted former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in the sexual harassment case filed by six women wrestlers, has observed that the case was “false and fabricated” and appeared to be politically motivated.

The wrestlers, however, have decided to challenge the acquittal. The court order, which has not been made public, shows that two wrestlers, whose allegations formed the basis of the charges against Singh, turned hostile and did not support the prosecutions case.
