Mumbai, 6/8: Bombay High Court on Thursday convicted former editor Tarun Tejpal in the 2013 rape case, setting aside the 2021 judgment of the Goa trial court which had acquitted him.
A division bench comprising Justices Dr Neela Gokhale and Amit Jamsandekar had reserved the judgment last week following detailed arguments from both sides. The High Court has directed the former Tehelka editor-in-chief to remain personally present in the court.
