Balasore: In a shocking incident at a wedding party, four minors allegedly slit the throat of a catering youth for serving chicken instead of mutton.The incident took place at Athantar village under Remuna police station in Balasore district. The youth has been admitted to Fakir Mohan Medical College in a serious condition.According to reports, the incident occurred at around 10 pm on June 24 in the Remuna Athantar area of Balasore. The catering youth was fatally attacked for serving chicken instead of mutton at the wedding party.When he was leaving the party, four minors allegedly chased him. They allegedly slit his throat from behind with a sharp weapon. The youth was seriously injured in the attack.He was admitted to Fakir Mohan Medical College in a serious condition. He was later shifted to SCB Medical College, Cuttack as his condition was critical.Remuna police have registered a case and started an investigation. All four minors have been apprehended and sent to a juvenile home. Further investigation is underway. Police may also seek assistance from the scientific team if required.
