Sambalpur:(Correspondent):- Keeping in mind the need for training and practice to avoid the fear of road and fire in daily life, under the guidance of Hindalco Hirakud Unit Head Shri Sumit Mukherjee and in consultation with Hirakud Complex Human Resources Head Shri Biswas Shinde, Hindalco in collaboration with Hindalco Hirakud Environmental Development Department and Fire Safety Department, an awareness program on “Fire and Road Safety Training and Practice” was conducted at Hirakud, Government High School. It was organized under the leadership of Hindalco Fire Safety Engineer Shri Pawan Bhatla and Safety Department Shri Laxmi Dhar Sahu, Head of Environmental Development Department Shri Anand Chakraborty and Assistant General Manager of Admin Department Shri Raj Singh. Its main objective is to save lives and property from danger by keeping oneself, one’s family and above all one’s area safe in an emergency situation. Hirakud, Principal of Government High School Mrs. Laxmi Seth and all the teachers and students along with many students of the school participated in this program. Mrs. Jayashree Rao and Shri Milan Kumar Sahu of Environmental Development Department of Hindalco assisted in organizing the program.
