ICSI inaugurates its 54th National Convention of Company Secretaries in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar : The Institute of Company Secretaries of India inaugurated its 54thNational Convention of Company Secretaries, themed “NextGen CS – Catalyst of Growth & Guardian of Governance,” in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on 05 September 2026.

The 3-day annual congregation of Company Secretariesis a platform for dialogues between regulators, industry leaders, professionals, and other stakeholders, providing an opportunity for thoughtful deliberations and engaging discussions.

The ICSI also inked MoUs with FICCI and PaperLite, and announced a webinar series on Navigating Governance: MSME Transformation Week, Start-ups Laws and Governance Week,andAI-Powered Company Secretary: Transforming Secretarial Practice, Governance & Compliance.

 

Sharing his insights on the thoughtfully structured programme, Shri Inderdeep Singh Dhariwal, Additional Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (Retd.),remarked, “The 54thNational Convention of Company Secretaries is a unique confluence where the past meets the future. With its insightfully curated sessions, it instils a strong foundational belief system that will forge next-generation leadership.”

Emphasizing the core philosophy of the ICSI, CS Pawan G. Chandak, President of ICSI, said,“The value system ingrained in Company Secretaries is anchored on integrity, trust, and accountability. By providing ethical guidance and ensuring stronger governance, the ICSI continues to support boards, empower regulators, and contribute to nation-building.”

The event is being attended byaround 1500 Company Secretaries, Professionals, Directors, Senior Government Officers, and other stakeholders. Approximately 3000 delegates areattending the event virtually.
