Oman, 15/7: The Indian national, who was missing since an attack on commercial vessel GFS Galaxy off the coast of Oman on Sunday, was found dead.
The body of Heramb Karmarkar was recovered about 60 hours after the incident, a seafarers’ union official told AFP.The Cyprus-flagged container ship, which had 24 crew members, including 11 Indians was struck by an “unidentified projectile”, according to Cyprus authorities. The other 23 crew members, including 10 Indian nationals, were rescued on Sunday.
