Nuapada and Chhattisgarh police jointly arrested two key suspects involved in an inter-state human trafficking ring.The arrested individuals have been identified as Mukesh Chandrakar, a resident of the Beltukuri police station area, and Lata Sabar, hailing from the Jonk police station area in Odisha’s Nuapada district. Both individuals were key suspects wanted in a human trafficking case registered at the Khallari Police Station under Mahasamund District, Chhattisgarh.Acting swiftly on actionable intelligence shared by Chhattisgarh police authorities, teams from Nuapada Police launched an immediate operation within their local jurisdiction. The joint effort led to the prompt location and apprehension of both suspects.Following their arrest, Chandrakar and Sabar were formally handed over to the Mahasamund Police team for further custodial investigation and legal proceedings under relevant sections of the law.
