Barbil:(Correspondent) :- JSW Steel’s Odisha Mining Division commemorated World AIDS Day 2025 on Monday with a series of impactful awareness and outreach programs across its operational sites in Keonjhar and Sundergarh districts. Activities were held at Nuagaon Mines, Narayanposhi Mines, Ganua Mines, Barbil Central Office, and the Bhubaneswar office.
Aligned with the global theme, “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response,” the company reaffirmed its dedication to employee well-being, public health, education, and community empowerment.
The observance featured health camps offering free HIV testing, educational workshops led by medical professionals, and candlelight vigils to honor lives lost to AIDS-related illnesses. JSW Steel also distributed multilingual educational materials to promote safe practices and reduce stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.
All activities were organized under the leadership of Shri Prasanna Panda (Business Head, JSW Steel, Odisha), Shri Chittaranjan Bahinipati (HR Head, JSW Steel, Odisha), and Shri Ankur Dokania (Finance Head, JSW Steel, Odisha).”

As the global community works toward ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030, JSW Steel remains steadfast in its commitment to building informed, inclusive, and resilient communities.
