MA Saleem is the new Karnataka police Chief

Bengaluru, 21/5: MA Saleem, a 1993-batch IPS officer, is the new chief of Karnataka police.

In a notification issued on Wednesday, the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) placed Saleem in concurrent charge of the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) until further orders. He replaced Alok Mohan.
