Naveen Jindal Inaugurates Learning Model Labs at Jindal Steel, Angul

In a significant step towards strengthening skill development and fostering a future-ready workforce, Mr. Naveen Jindal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Kurukshetra) and Chairman of Jindal Steel, today inaugurated the state-of-the-art Learning Model Labs at the Naveen Jindal Skill Centre, Angul.

The initiative underscores the company’s strong commitment to enhancing technical excellence, safety standards, and hands-on capabilities among its employees and business partners by aligning learning with real-world industrial applications.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Mr. Naveen Jindal urged all workers to embrace training initiatives with complete dedication and enthusiasm. Emphasising the importance of skill development, he stated that skilled work not only improves efficiency but also makes tasks simpler, safer, and more effective.

He further called upon officers in leadership roles to take proactive responsibility in motivating their team members to actively participate in training programmes.

In a social media post, he wrote, “When we invest in people, we invest in sustainable progress. Empowered skills create confident professionals, stronger industries, and a stronger nation.”

The programme was attended by Mr. Gautam Malhotra, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Pankaj Malhan, Executive Director In-Charge, Angul Location; Mr. Damodar Mittal, Executive Director – Projects, along with senior officials and employees.

Chairman Mr. Jindal also visited Shramik Vihar, where he inaugurated an open gym named ‘Sankalp’ and a market complex ‘Samriddhi’, developed for the welfare and well-being of business partners. These initiatives reaffirm the company’s commitment to community development and employee welfare beyond the workplace.
