Hospital sources said her condition is stable and she is under medical observation.Preliminary reports suggest that the woman, a resident of Kainphul village under Sonepur police limits, had recently married and was out with her husband when the incident occurred.Sources said the couple had an argument over an undisclosed issue while travelling. In an attempt to calm her down, the husband reportedly stopped their motorcycle on the Mahanadi Bridge and began taking photographs.However, during that time, the woman suddenly jumped into the river, shocking her husband and bystanders.Fire services personnel acted swiftly after receiving information from people passing through the area and managed to rescue her from the water.Police have begun an inquiry into the incident.
