The Odisha Vigilance on Monday launched simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Sanjay Kumar Kispatta, Executive Engineer of Odisha Construction Corporation (OCC) Ltd., Bhubaneswar, in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets (DA) case.According to Vigilance officials, Kispatta, who previously served as Assistant Executive Engineer at the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Koraput, is under investigation for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.Searches Conducted at Seven Location.The searches are being carried out on the strength of warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore.The seven locations under search include:A rented residence at Tikra Sahi, behind Mutyalu Maa Temple in Koraput.A four-storey commercial building at Kumbha-I, Koraput Town.An under-construction residential house at Kumbha-II, Koraput.His parental residence at Lateimunda village under Lahunipada police limits in Sundargarh district.An under-construction three-storey building at Lateimunda, Sundargarh.His official residential quarters and office chambers in Bhubaneswar and Balangir Large Vigilance Team DeployedThe operation is being led by a team comprising six Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), eight Inspectors, seven Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) and other supporting personnel.Officials said the searches are part of an ongoing investigation into allegations that the officer accumulated wealth beyond his legitimate sources of income.Investigation Underway.The Vigilance Department stated that searches are still in progress. Details regarding the assets recovered or seized during the operation will be shared after the completion of the raids.Further action will depend on the outcome of the investigation and verification of the properties and documents collected during the searches
