Kashipur -Odisha People in the Kansariguda area are seeing steady progress in the Aditya Alumina Refinery project by Hindalco. Along with the construction work, the company is also supporting nearby villages through activities in health, education, livelihoods, infrastructure, and community development, reaching more than 18,000 people. Locals believe the project will bring good opportunities in the future, especially for jobs and better facilities. Already, more than 1,000 youth from Rayagada and Koraput districts are working in the project through different agencies, giving hope for improved livelihoods and growth in the region. However, there is growing apprehension among residents that continued interference by outside miscreants may hinder the project’s timely completion and jeopardize their future prospects.
