Bhubaneswar: Police have arrested the owner of the Thar vehicle involved in the Patrapada accident on August 9 that killed a woman and her child.
According to information, the owner of the Thar has been nabbed today, while the driver is still absconding.
The Khandagiri police station have arrested Somanath Behera, the owner from Puri today. In this relation, two people were arrested earlier.
According to reports, Ankit Rakshi was driving the Scorpio and was racing with a Thar. During the race, the Thar rider rode over the woman and her daughter in Patrapada.
In the accident, Manal Raulo’s wife and his eight-year-old daughter died while they were returning after celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
Relatives and local residents blocked the road for 2 days due to this. But so far it is not clear who was driving the killer Thar that caused the accident, nor has the driver been caught. Khandagiri police seized the Thar from the Jatni police station area
