Lucknow, 1/8: A case was registered in Varanasi against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and two other MPs on Saturday for allegedly insulting Sanatan Dharma. The case was filed on them for enacting a play in Parliament premises on Friday in in a symbolic depiction of ‘fund theft’ at Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The FIR was lodged after several prominent seers in Varanasi, led by Patalpuri Mutt Peethadheeshwar Jagadguru Balak Devacharya, filed a complaint at the Kotwali police station in Varanasi.
