Director Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana: Part 1, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, held a grand premiere at the David Geffen Theatre inside the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.The event brought together the leading cast and crew along with several notable Hollywood figures. Photographs released by the film’s team show Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra smiling and posing for photographers. Ranbir Kapoor wore a silver bandhgala suit with black trousers, while Sai Pallavi appeared in an elegant pink saree. Yash was accompanied by his wife.Ramayana: Part 1 features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with the eight-time Oscar-winning DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. It is planned as a two-part epic.The first part is scheduled for worldwide release on November 5, 2026, with the second part planned for Diwali 2027. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam across India and presented in IMAX. Sony Pictures will handle global distribution outside India, while Dharma Productions will distribute the film in the Hindi-speaking market.
