Mumbai, 16/8: The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration, led by Tukaram Mundhe, has issued show cause notices to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff for advertising Vimal elaichi, alleging that it leads to surrogate advertising or indirectly promoting pan masala, which is prohibited in the state.
The three actors have come under FDA’s radar for their appearance in the 2024 advertisement for Vimal, a pan masala company.
