Yemen, 21/8: Somali pirates, in a span of four days, hijacked two ships including a Cameroon-flagged cargo vessel carrying weapons was seized off the coast of the semiautonomous Somali region of Puntland and a suspected Iranian shadow fleet tanker off the coast of Yemen. The earlier vessel had aboard six Indians of the total ten member crew.The ship, M/V LUTUF, which was carrying Turkish weapons, was seized on Monday about three and a half nautical miles off Marraya in Puntland’s Eyl district, the official told The Associated Press. It was then taken to the region’s Nugaal coast.
