Preparations Begin by the Debottar Department.Preparations have begun at the Sri Sri Haribaladev Jew Temple, known as the second Srikhetra of Baripada, for the upcoming Indo Festival. As per the direction of the Mayurbhanj District Collector, the Debottar Department brought timber from the forest today for the requirements of the Indo Festival and transported it to the area near the temple.
The timber was brought from the forest under the leadership of Chhatia of the Debottar Department, Sri Muchiram. Forest Department officials and staff were present during the operation.
Ratha Maharana Alokanath Maharana, Kshitish Maharana, Rabindra Maharana, Harish Maharana, Harimohan Maharana and Shambhunath Rana, along with local residents, extended their cooperation in bringing the timber and carrying out the necessary work.
Keeping in view the traditional rituals and other requirements of the Indo Festival, further preparations by the temple authorities will begin after the timber reaches the temple premises. Coordination among the Debottar Department, Forest Department and local residents has been observed to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival.
