Kolkatta, 8/7: Election Commission is likely to give time to the Trinamool Congress faction led by Ritabrata Banerjee till Friday to respond to back their claim on the party, acting on a request seeking more time.
The deadline given to Mamata Banerjee and her rival Ritabrata for responding to the EC missive had ended on Monday evening. While Mamata submitted a 14-page reply, the Ritabrata faction sought more time to furnish their reply.
