Bhubaneswar: In a heart-wrenching incident, at two workers died reportedly after falling inside an under-construction toilet tank in BJB Nagar area of Bhubaneswar today.One Dhuma Tudu from Mayurbhanj district along with another worker from West Bengal were reportedly doing the centering work of the under-construction toilet tank near the Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir at around 2 PM today. However, the structure collapsed and both of them got trapped under the debris.On receiving information, the Bhubaneswar Fire Brigade reached the spot, rescued the two workers in critical condition and sent them to the Capital Hospital for treatment. However, the doctors declared both of them dead on arrival.Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the matter to ascertain under what circumstances the tragedy occurred. Besides, they have made the arrangement for the postmortem and handover the bodies to the family members of the deceased workers.
