Chennai, 10/2: In a sad piece of news Veteran BJD leader V. Sugnana Kumari Deo passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. She was 86 years old.
Sugnana Deo, a member of the royal family of Khallikote, was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly for 10 times in her illustrious political career.
Sugnana was very active in politics and had engaged in public service for nearly 60 years.
