Wild animals are not safe in the Boudh forest: Dead body of wild boar found near Jharfesparedi in Kantamal range

Subarnapur, 22/4: On Wednesday at 10 am, a decomposed dead body of a wild boar was found lying near Jharfesparedi rural forest under Sadar bit of Barpadar section of Kantamal range Rundimahul gram panchayat in Boudh forest division . According to the information received, today, when some locals went towards the rural forest for some work, they smelled the smell of the decomposed dead body and investigated where the smell was coming from. A boar was found dead and decomposed for two to three days. Surprisingly, since no forest official lives in their section and bit area, they are discussing in the public that they have not received any information. In this regard, some media representatives contacted the officer of the Divisional Forest Officer ( DFO ) Rajendra Gochhayat, but he did not answer the call and disconnected it. As a result, his response could not be obtained. How boar died is shrouded in doubt. Whether boar’s death was natural or he was killed for hunting will be revealed after investigation. Due to such irresponsibility of the forest department, it is easy to guess how safe the forest resources and wild animals are in the Boudh forest division .
