Patna, 15/6 (Ao Bureau):Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Bihar, the Congress has denied the news of the breakup of its MLAs. Since the breakup in the LJP on Sunday night, speculations are rife that Congress MLAs in Bihar may also change their first position very soon. According to various media reports and information received from JDU sources, about 10 Congress MLAs are in constant touch with JDU, which can break up anytime. But, under the provisions of the anti-defection law, it is mandatory to have 13 numbers for the dissolution of MLAs. For this, ‘Operation Congress’ is now being run by JDU.
In this operation, the exercise of connecting 3 more MLAs is going on. On the other hand, the party’s senior leader and MLC Premchandra Mishra has denied these things. Mishra said that all this is fictitious and these reports in the media are being planted by those JDU leaders who want to prove their worth before Nitish Kumar. He said that our direct charge is on the building construction minister Ashok Chaudhary, who is a fugitive of the Congress, he is engaged in this work. But not a single Congress MLA is leaving the party. Premchandra Mishra said that our legislature party is united. We know we are having a game of perception. Premchand said that you broke the LJP, but is the Congress any LJP and will Nitish Kumar anger the Congress? Nitish Kumar is a political person, he would never want the door of Congress to be closed for him. Mishra claimed that the NDA government is going to fall in Bihar and a coalition government will be formed. At present, there are 19 MLAs of Congress in Bihar and for any party to break up, it is necessary for any party to come together.
