Cipla/Moderna’s Covid vaccine got approval in India, Center may announce soon: Sources

New Delhi,29/6 :The Drugs Controller General of India has soon approved the emergency use of Moderna’s anti-Covid-19 vaccine. The government can announce it soon. Sources have given this information on Tuesday. Sources have told that Moderna has got approval to import the vaccine into India. After getting this approval from the DCGA, the process of vaccination in India can be further accelerated. In India, the vaccines of Oxford and Serum Institute are currently being used prominently by CovaShield and Bharat Biotech. Apart from this, Russia’s vaccine Sputnik V is also being used in some places. Now after getting the approval of Moderna, India’s vaccination program will be able to move forward rapidly.
