New Delhi, 1/7 (AO Bureau):While the exercise of assembly elections to be held in Uttarakhand next year is going on, there is a lot of excitement about the by-election of Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. On one hand Rawat himself has reached Delhi BJP high command for discussion and strategy, while on the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has made a big announcement saying that Colonel Ajay Kothiyal will join AAP in the by-election against Uttarakhand CM Rawat. Candidates will be there and will challenge with full vigor While making this announcement, AAP also targeted the BJP and Uttarakhand CM and set its election rhythm.
AAP announced that retired Colonel Kothiyal will contest against CM Tirath Singh Rawat in the by-election in Gangotri assembly seat and this election will change the political picture of Uttarakhand. Accusing the Uttarakhand government of misgovernance, AAP said that after this by-election, misrule will end in the state and along with the Gangotri by-election, Tirath’s farewell will also begin and Uttarakhand’s Navnirman will also begin. While making the formal announcement, AAP showed a strong attitude that even six months after becoming the CM, Tirath Singh Rawat is shying away from contesting elections.
