New Delhi, 9/10:Delhiites are facing a new challenge in the form of power shortage. Due to the acute shortage of coal in the country, the period of cuts has started in the national capital. At a time when people are resuming economic activities that have been closed due to the Corona lockdown and are preparing for the festive season, the warning of power cuts by the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government may bring trouble for them.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that the people of the national capital may face power crisis and his government is taking steps to deal with the situation. He said that he has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene to ensure proper arrangement of coal and gas in the production plants supplying electricity to the city.
