Doctor apprehended by Odisha Vigilance

Baripada, 9/10:In a big development, Dr.Debidutta Patra (Doctor),PRM Medical College, Baripada, of Mayurbhanj district has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 20,000/- from a Complainant for issuance of post mortem report of her deceased brother. The entire bribe money has been recovered from Dr. Patra and seized.

In this connection Balasore Vigilance PS Case No 20 dated 8.10.2021 has been registered. Investigation in progress against Dr.Patra. Detailed report follows.
