Bhutan, 29/1:IPL 2022 Mega Auction is going to happen next month, in which 318 players will be bidding. Money will rain on the players, but there is one name out of 318, which is in discussion since the registration itself. The name is Mikyo Dorji, who hails from Bhutan and has become the first Bhutanese cricketer to register for the IPL auction. 22-year-old Dorjee is an all-rounder. He made his debut against Malaysia in 2018.
Dorjee is the first Bhutanese cricketer to participate in a foreign league. He also participated in Nepal’s Everest Premier League last year. In a conversation with the New Indian Express, Dorjee told that his dream is to play in the IPL. In 2018 and 2019, he also went to MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai. He got special advice from MS Dhoni Granted, work hard, no matter what results they get. Dorjee took Dhoni’s advice very seriously and started working hard in the nets.
