Dhadi Darshan to begin after Hundi shifting of Ratna Bhandar : Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan

Puri: Amidst the ongoing repair work of Ratna Bhandar, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan has said that only after the Hundi shifting the Dhadi darshan will begin. He said that the Parichalana Committee will give its final decision by the end of this month. It is important that the government and the Parichalana Committee to agree on the suggestions. The Law Minister said, “ There is a link between the Hundi shifting of Ratna Bhandar and Dhadi Darshan. The Dhadi Darshan will begin within 2 to 4 days of Hundi shifting.” Speaking about the repair work of Ratna Bhandar he said that it was of utmost importance to get the repairing done. Thus the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) was entrusted with the repair work. He was heard saying, “If repair work of Ratna Bhandar had not been done then it would have collapsed. The repair work has been done keeping in view the next 100 to 200 years.” The Law Minister further added, “ASI was given very less time to complete the work. Additionally the repair work is going on for only 1.5 to 2 hours and will be completed prior to Snan Yatra (Rath Yatra).” He mentioned that ASI should not be pressurised to get the work done as very less time was allotted for the work. The organisation is working in such a way so that the rituals of the Srimandir are not affected.
