Rourkela/Sundargarh: A truck was completely gutted after catching fire on the road near Ranpur under Talasara police station limits in Sundargarh district.According to preliminary information, the truck suddenly caught fire while it was on the road. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.As flames rapidly engulfed the vehicle, the driver reportedly jumped out of the truck and managed to save his life. No casualty has been reported in the incident so far.On being informed, fire services personnel rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control. However, the truck was completely destroyed in the fire.As the burning vehicle remained on the road, vehicular movement on the stretch was severely affected, leading to traffic disruption. Police are looking into the circumstances that led to the fire.
