New Delhi, 17/10:Corona Vaccine, seen as the biggest weapon in the midst of the ongoing war against Coronavirus, is going to create a new history in India. In the next five to six days, the number of people taking corona vaccine in the country will cross the 100 crore mark. According to the data released by the Health Department, till Saturday evening, 97.62 crore people have been given corona vaccine in the country. 38 lakh doses were given on Saturday.
According to the data released by the ministry, since the start of the third phase of vaccination, a total of 39,25,87,450 people have been given the first dose of corona vaccine while 11,01,73,456 people have been given the second dose. The ministry said that so far a total of 69,45,87,576 people in the country have been given the first dose of the vaccine and 28,17,04,770 have been given the second dose. The Ministry said that the Kovid-19 vaccination coverage in the country crossed the figure of 97.62 crores on Saturday.
