New Delhi, 18/3: The massive victory of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab has increased the participation of the party in Parliament. In such a situation, soon the election of Rajya Sabha members from Punjab is going to be held. Election Commission has issued notification for 5 out of 7 Rajya Sabha seats in Punjab. The election is on March 31 and the last date for filing nominations is on March 21.
In such a situation, AAP has decided the names of three candidates from Punjab. About cricketer Harbhajan Singh, information was received about the name being decided yesterday. Now according to the report of Indian Express, there is talk of party’s Delhi MLA Raghav Chadha and Delhi IIT professor Sandeep Pathak being made Rajya Sabha candidates.
