Supreme court terms dismissal of Trust vote as unconstitutional

Islambad, 7/4: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has given a big blow to Imran Khan. The Supreme Court has restored the National Assembly and ordered to convene a meeting of the National Assembly on 9 April. In this, the next government of Pakistan will be decided by the no-confidence motion. The Supreme Court has declared the dissolution of the National Assembly by the Deputy Speaker unconstitutional. Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan had termed the Deputy Speaker’s decision wrong during the no-confidence motion against the Imran Khan government. According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in Pakistan Ata Bandiyal has said that it is clear that the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly on 3 April rejected the no-confidence motion, it was completely wrong. The Supreme Court said that we have to look in the interest of the country. We will give a verdict on this today itself. According to Pakistani time, the final decision will be given on this at 7.30 pm today. That is, according to Indian time, the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan will be held at around 8 o’clock. Earlier the hearing has been completed and the court has reserved the decision.

 

 

Imran Khan will accept the decision

Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he will obey the order of the Supreme Court. Imran Khan has a meeting with his legal team in view of the Supreme Court’s decision. Imran Khan’s party has told PTI that whatever the decision comes, he will accept it.

 

It would be unconstitutional to dissolve the National Assembly

Chief Justin Omar Ata Bandial has found on the basis of first evidence approach that the manner in which the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Qasim Suri dissolved it on 3 April, violates Article 95 of the Constitution of Pakistan. A bench of 5 judges is hearing the dissolution of the National Assembly for the fifth day today. Geo TV says that the Supreme Court of Pakistan will today declare Qasim Suri’s decision to dissolve the National Assembly as unconstitutional.
