Sambalpur : JSW believes in inclusive growth of the society & communities. In line with the
philosophy, JSWBPSL have taken several initiatives under the leadership Of
Mr. Anil Kumar Singh, Director & Occupier, to promote road safety. A lot of
activities have been started inside and outside plant premises. Clear positive
change is visible towards all categories of employees and vendors, regarding use
of Crash Helmet (while driving/riding two wheelers) , use of seat belt while driving
four wheeler, use/wearing of fluorescent jackets while moving by foot/
bicycle/two wheeler , speed control (in side plant) , on road. A cultural change ,as
per the norms of JSW , is going on. The employees who are coming to JSWBPSL
Plant, from Dist –Jharsuguda and Dist-Sambalpur , can be seen and visualize from
distance as per their safe dress code and use of preventive safety measures. JSW
BPSL is also operating the safe driving campaign which includes training sessions
for heavy vehicle drivers towards ,defensive driving, obey traffic rules, speed
control ,protective riding methods etc.
In furtherance to the noble cause of road safety, a team of officers from
JSWBPSL, comprising of Mr. D K Sinha, V.P Administration , Mr.Manoj Kumar
Singh, AVP, Security & Vigilance and Mr. Sushil Kumar Panigrahi, Advisor Security
,has started handing over 55 Mobile road barriers to Mr. Lambodar Buda, Addl
S.P. Jharsuguda, which will be used under three Police Stations , (i) Badmal (ii)
Jharsuguda and (iii) Sadar Jharsuguda, for Security Check, Traffic Control and
traffic awareness .Mr. Rahul Jain, IPS, S.P. Jharsuguda has appreciated the efforts
of JSWBPSL team towards Road Safety.
