Ahmedabada, 21/3 (Ao Bureau): England captain Eoin Morgan revealed that fast bowler Jofra Archer’s elbow injury was worsening and he could be out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) series for the upcoming three ODIs against India. . The 25-year-old player already had pain in his right elbow which has now increased and Morgan is not sure whether he will be able to participate in the ODI series in Pune from March 23.
Morgan said after the fifth and final T20 International match on Saturday that it is not sure that Archer is playing in ODIs right now. We will have to wait to assess their condition. His injury is continuously worsening and it is necessary to treat him. The IPL will start from April 9 and this fast bowler playing for Rajasthan Royals is doubtful to play in the beginning of the T20 tournament.
