The UK, 9/4 (AO Bureau): Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Duke of Edinburgh, has died at the age of 99 today. Buckingham Palace has announced that he has died this morning at Windsor Castle, the second-largest palace in the British royal family.
For the past few years, he has been suffering from old age diseases. He was hospitalized in February with chest pains. He recovered on March 18 and returned to Windsor Castle.
He was born in 1921 on the Greek island of Corfu to Prince Philip on the 14th and married Queen Elizabeth. The couple has four children.

There has been a shadow of mourning in Britain since the death of Prince Philip. In his honor, the British National Flag Union Jack has been halved.
