Rahane’s century puts India on Driving seat in the Boxing Day test

MCG, 27/12 (AO Bureau ): A brilliant century by stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane has put India on the driving seat of the second day of the Melbourne Test. Rahane led from the front and scored a brilliant 104 of 200 balls(Not out. Ravindra Jadeja is batting alongside him on 40 runs. India ended the day with a score of 277/5 at the end of day 2. : India took lead in the first two Tests of a series in Australia for the first time since 1985.

India dismissed Australia  for a below-average total of 195  on Saturday thanks to a brilliant bowling display from Indian bowlers led by Jasprit Bumrah.
