Kathua: A search operation has been initiated in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir after information about a terrorist hideout, said reports on Wednesday. According to reports, the DGP Nalin Prabhat reached the spot where the search operation was going on in Hiranagar area of Kathua after inputs of the presence of terrorists here. The SOG (Special Operations Group) is undertaking the search operation, further detailed reports awaited in this regard. In a major success to Anantnag police personnel and army, a terrorist hideout has been busted in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, said reliable reports on March 24. According to reports, the terrorist hideout has been busted in Anantnag due to a tip off received by the police from a source. The SSP of Anantnag GV Sundeep told ANI, “Yesterday, we got a specific input regarding terrorist presence, we formed a team jointly with Army and went for the search operation.” He further informed that, “there (during the operation), we busted a terrorist hideout. We recovered arms and ammunition in huge numbers. This is a big achievement.”
