Maharashtra, 30/12 (AO Bureau) : To prevent the spread of Coronavirus In India, the Maharashtra government has extended Maharastra Lockdown restrictions till 31 January 2021 in the state. The order states that the state government believes that the spread of the COVID-19 virus threatens the state of Maharashtra. Some emergency measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the virus. The government has decided to extend the lockdown under the Pandemic Act 1897 and Disaster Act 2005 till 31 January.
The Maharashtra government has taken this decision at a time when there has been an increase in the cases of new strains of Corona in the country. At the same time, 664 passengers arrived at Mumbai Airport on Tuesday, out of which 361 passengers have been kept in isolation in the city. A municipal official said that a total of nine international flights arrived here on Tuesday. He said that 254 passengers were allowed to go to other states, while some travelers were exempted from the mandatory segregated habitat rule due to reasons like getting pregnant and getting older.
