CJI takes cognizance of Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand’s death, talks to Chief Justice of Jharkhand

Dhanbad.,29/7 (AO Bureau)The case of the accidental death of District and Sessions Judge Uttam Anand, who went on a morning walk, has reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has demanded an independent inquiry from the court. SCBA has told the Supreme Court that there should be an independent inquiry into the matter as there could be a bigger conspiracy behind the way the incident has been carried out.

Chief Justice Justice NV Ramana said that he has spoken to the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. Taking suo motu cognizance of the matter, the High Court has summoned the police officer of Dhanbad. The High Court is looking into the matter. In fact, the CCTV footage of the death of District and Sessions Judge Uttam Anand, who came out on the morning walk, has come to the fore, it is clear to a great extent that the auto hit the accident intentionally. The police is investigating every aspect of the death of the judge, who is a close aide of the former MLA, considering the death of the judge who was hearing in many important cases like murder. The top police officers say that soon the culprits will be punished after revealing this incident. At the same time, the MLA has demanded a CBI inquiry in this case.
