Bhubaneswar 27.11.2025, Sri Gourahari Patra, Former Junior Grade Despatcher, office of SE, Irrigation Circle, Baripada (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case U/s 13(2) r/w 13 (1)(c)(d) PC Act,1988/468/420/471/409 IPC, for misappropriation of Govt. money by way of preparing false treasury challan and rubber seal of bank officials, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/-.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension Sri Gourahari Patra, Former Junior Grade Despatcher, O/o SE, Irrigation Circle, Baripada (Retired) from service following his conviction.
