Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited has launched Project SAATHI – TouchingBA Lives, designed to promote inclusive growth and strengthen engagement with BusinessAssociates (BAs) employees and their families. This pilot project, kicked off from Lathi village,Berhampur, will build a supportive ecosystem for BA employees through education, livelihoodopportunities, and healthcare.The Project includes Pragati Path, a scholarship support for students and helps them enrol ingovernment ITI or diploma colleges, providing them a path to their goal. Along with this, theMargdarshan initiative will provide them with career and financial guidance, helping themachieve holistic and long-term benefits.Adding to this, the “Aarogya Parivar” will provide accessible healthcare to the BA employeesand their families through the Sanjivini Mobile Health Dispensary. The camps focus onpreventive care and general health check up followed by an awareness session.Providing a glimpse of services under the initiatives at the launch event in Lathi, Konisi,Berhampur—attended by more than 65 BA employees and their families—a health checkupcamp was also conducted to promote well-being. The Dhaaga and Dhoopbatti Centres were also displayed at the event, encouraging families to participate in income‑generation andentrepreneurship opportunities.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, CEO, TPSODL stated, “Project SAATHI reflectsour belief that growth is truly meaningful when it includes every member of our extendedworkforce.
