Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming movie Daayra, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles, is all set to release in theatres on September 18.Inspired by true events, Daayra is a thriller film that focuses on themes of crime, justice and punishment.The story shows how difficult it can be to decide what is legally right and what is morally right.The screenplay of the film has been written by Yash Keswani, Sima Agarwal, and Meghna Gulzar.The movie is also special because it marks the first time Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran will appear together on screen. Both actors play the role of police officers in the film.According to the makers, Daayra will present a deeper look at the justice system and raise questions about the difference between law and fairness.This is third project Gulzar has worked with Junglee Pictures after Talvar and Raazi
