Paradip: The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at Paradip Refinery (PDR), draped with patriotic colour and enthusiasm. On this occasion, Mr V S Jain, ED & RH, PDR unfurled the National Flag at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (NSCB) Stadium of Paradip Refinery Township in sync with the Corporate Office and all units and locations of IndianOil. The National Anthem was sung at Paradip Refinery in unison with all IndianOil families. Addressing the gathering, Mr Jain paid homage to the great leaders and freedom fighters who were instrumental in enactment of our constitution. He further added that IndianOil is fully focused on inclusive growth of the region and new projects like MEG, PX-PTA, Needle Coker, Textile Park at Bhadrak etc. will pave the way for scripting the industrial growth story of Odisha. These projects on the petrochemical segment will create a conducive ecosystem for the setting up of many ancillary plastic & textile industries in Odisha and will give impetus towards our journey for “Atmanirbhar Bharat”. Mr Jain also highlighted the significant initiatives of IndianOil on its journey towards Green Energy, aligned with the theme of 2022- “Crafting A Green Future”. The event was celebrated following all the COVID norms with limited gathering. The programs of both CO as well as PDR were live-streamed for virtual participation of all the employees, families and stakeholders of Paradip Refinery.
