Bhubaneswar: In a relief to Berhampur Lok Sabha MP Pradeep Panigrahy, the JMFC Cognizance Special Magistrate Court for MP/MLAs on Monday acquitted him in all three cases filed against him.
Yesterday, Panigrahy was acquitted in two cases, and today, he was acquitted in the remaining three cases. The court found him not guilty in all the cases. With this latest verdict, Panigrahi has been cleared of all charges against him.
On Tuesday, JMFC Cognizance Special Magistrate Court had given a clean chit to him and two others in job fraud cases. The hearing in three more cases against the BJP MP was scheduled to be held today. Today all three cases, which were related to cheating and fraud, were heard and Panigrahy was freed from all charges.
It is pertinent to mention that Panigrahy was accused of cheating people by promising them jobs at Tata Steel. The cases were filed at Golanthara and Baidyanathpur police stations.
