Thane, 31/7: At least eight people died while some are feared trapped after a four-storey building collapsed in the Bhiwandi township of Thane district, around 50 kms away from downtown Mumbai.
Bhiwandi is referred to as a power loom town and warehousing hub. A portion of the Kohinoor Building at the Tawre Compound in Gangaram Wadi caved in around 11.30 pm on Thursday night.
